At Smile Style there is all the high-tech wizardry one could wish for, but what is exceptional about the practice, and why after 15 years I still cross London to visit, is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Mr Balkin and his team always have the time to explain treatment options and to put you at your ease. And apart from caring assiduously for teeth past their best-by date, they excel at the nurturing of young teeth, dealing with childhood emergencies such as teeth chipped in playground tumbles, and giving protective treatment to last through the sweet-eating years. For his part, my son really likes the books and ingenious puzzles in the waiting room! Few would say that a trip to the dentist was a pleasurable experience, but here it is.
